What to Pack

  • Your passport (remember to make a copy of the passport for you and your partner – keep these separate from original documents), e-ticket, hotel accommodation, travel insurance and your money in your hand luggage
  • Pack your reading glasses, medicine (with a copy of your prescription) and a light jacket
  • Don’t forget to wear comfortable clothes and shoes for the flight
  • Clothing (check the weather forecast before packing)
  • Camera, mobile charger, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, moisturiser, and lip salve
  • Remember to leave the hotel contact details and your flight details with a friend / family
  • Electric adaptor from a three-prong to a two-prong if needed.  In Vienna and Barcelona the sockets are two prong.
Dress code

Shorts are acceptable for men and woman; however, it is not acceptable to wear a short when visiting a religious place. It is advisable to pack in lightweight fabrics and always remember to pack in a shawl for ladies or a light jacket if the weather changes in the evening or for flying.

  • Smart shoes (no micro shorts).

  • Jackets and ties are not required.
  • No shorts, sleeveless t-shirts.

Pack some warm clothes for the cooler days / evenings.

Smart casual: Important to remember that when dressing for a smart casual event, the emphasis is on “smart” and not on “casual.
