LAGS | Liquids, Aerosols and Gases
The general rule of thumb is if you can pour it, pump it, squeeze it, spread it, smear it, spray it or spill it, it is considered a LAG.
The Rules for LAGS are:
- Liquids, aerosols, and gases in your hand luggage must be in containers of maximum 100ml each
- Take note: No containers over 100ml in your hand luggage, even if they are partially filled
- Store LAGs in a transparent, re-sealable bag (e.g., Ziploc bag). Total bag capacity must be maximum one litre. Only one bag per passenger will be allowed
- Be prepared for the security check by taking your bag out of your hand luggage and scan it separately
- To avoid having your belongings that do not comply with the rules being confiscated, pack them in your check-in luggage
- Medication carried on board need not be in your LAGs bag but remember to show them to security. If carrying medication, you may need to produce your prescription. Medication does not need to be restricted to 100ml. Try to keep the medication in the original packaging. This will assist security to identify the medicines and will prevent delays
