Travel Insurance
Travel insurance underwritten by Chubb Insurance SA has been taken out for each guest for the duration of the trip. Full details of the policy schedule will be e-mailed to you with your e-tickets.
All benefits are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the policy and details of the sum insured. Sub-limits and excesses are contained in the Schedule of Benefits.
Your travel insurance has been purchased for the duration of the Finance MoE trip only. If you have a confirmed post-tour, please ensure that you have purchased additional travel insurance.
Please have a look at your policy to familiarise yourself with what you are covered for when travelling abroad.
Medical Assistance
- Emergency service provider: Chubb Assistant.
- Should anything happen (feel ill, fall, etc.)
- After your initial examination and before being admitted to a hospital call the contact number on the travel insurance for authorization.
- Inform the travel team of the incident immediately.
- GP bill for traveller’s account and then claim back on return.
- If hospitalised – Chubb will be billed directly.
- Corporate membership of International SOS also covers the trip.
- In the event of an incident – may also call ISOS call centre directly from the ISOS APP.
- Make use of their network of doctors and hospitals.
- Direct billed to insurance.
- The Assistance App is available for IOS and Android smartphones.
- To download it, search for the CHUBB APP on the Google Play Store (Android) or the App Store (Apple/IOS).
- STEP 1: Once you have downloaded the app - insert your policy number
- STEP 2: Enter your details, password, and policy number. Set your password to at least 10 characters, with
- at least one uppercase letter and one number.
- STEP 3: You will receive a verification email. Enter your mobile phone number and click 'submit'.
General tips
- It is imperative that you read your travel insurance policy wording.
- All medicines to be kept in their original container displaying your name and dosage requirements and carried in hand luggage to prevent their loss.
- Contact the nearest International SOS Travel Clinic for info about travelling with medicines.
- If you are prone to stomach ailments and if you suffer from motion sickness, pack precautionary medication.
- Diabetics travelling with needles and syringes – to take these items on board the aircraft, a letter is required from your doctor (written in English) confirming the necessity of having these items with you all the time.
- Prescription or letter from doctor should accompany all prescription medicines.
- Due to security reasons, pack your toiletries in your suitcase.
